Recently, the government launched an e-payment platform BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) App. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched BHIM UPI App in New Delhi on 30 December 2016. The App name BHIM is a tribute to the architect of the Indian Constitution, Babasaheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
The Indian government launched this app after the order to make India a cashless economy. So India Government launched its own UPI (Unified Payment Interface) to help you in being cashless. The government is protest it to be fast, easy interface and secure. The app has all functionality with easy interface and simple to use. Now, money transaction is so simple and secure using BHIM app.

After Demonetization the e-wallet app PAYTM users has become high everywhere. Indeed, even at small stalls, the PayTm has broadly appeared. The Government has made arrangements for computerised exchanges and cashless economy. Likewise to energise the computerised instalment framework the Government has as of late presented the money prizes for exchanges on different cards like RuPay card, USSD, and different cards.
First, you need to download this app from play store to use. So don’t confused and download BHIM app through Google Play Store because similarly named app also available on fraud sites. This app available for both Android and IOS users. So everyone downloads BHIM UPI app file via Android, IOS (iPhones), Windows mobile stores.
BHIM UPI App Installation Process
First, you go to your play store and type the app name ‘BHIM’. only choose the app which is developed by National Payment Corporations of India. Then tap on the install button and wait for installing the app.
How to pay using BHIM Aadhar Payment App | For users
Money transaction through new BHIM app is easier and simpler than other similar apps. You don’t need a working internet connection, smartphone and credit/debit card for paying via this app. Only one thing you need, that is your Unique Identification Number (UIDAI), select your bank account and then scan your finger/thumb across the biometric sensor.
Below are simple steps to use BHIM app:
Launch the BHIM app
Choose a language either Hindi or English.
After this, it asks permission to access your SMS and Phone.
Enter your Aadhar Card Number
Select your bank (i.e. SBI, ICICI, HDFC, AXIS and YES BANK etc.)
Scan your finger across the biometric sensor. The fingerprint is work as your security password
Now you able to make a transaction from your account.
BHIM also works on feature phones, you have to dial *99# to downloading the app. This facility is not available with bank-run UPI apps.

Good news for BHIM and UPI app user. As per the report, NPCI is ready to launch both app’s upgraded version in the next one to two months. In the year 2016-17, 9.3 billion transactions have been done.
